団体の趣旨＝＝＝
非営利組織ウフルは、2002年12月から『春日子どもの遊び場』を運営しています。「ウフル（uhuru)」はスワヒリ語で「自由」という意味です。子どもたちの自由な時間や発想を大切にしたい・・・そんな想いで、開催しています。私たち大人も、毎回、子どもたちの笑顔、素直な表現に、元気をもらっています。子どもの成長見守りとともにお預かりしている時間は保護者の方の貴重な時間にもなっており、感謝の言葉を頂いています。単発での参加も可能ですが、長期間、参加することで、子ども達の成長も見られます。参加時間もご相談、調整できます。ぜひ一度、参加してみてみませんか？
Hello! We are a non-profit volunteer group called Uhuru (meaning 'free' in Swahili). We're looking for volunteers that will join us in our "Play Day". People 18 years old and above are welcome.
- We will pair you with a child (ages 3 to 11) to play for three hours.
- We have arts and crafts, toys, and you can go outside when it is sunny.
- We ask that you do not leave the child we pair you with alone at any time during the play day.
- We can issue proof of your volunteering hours at the end of the day.
Note about Japanese speaking level: While some of our staff can speak English, the children coming to the play day are all native Japanese speakers.
